Heritage Activities @St_Elvans
Our heritage work is multi-faceted and includes FREE monthly heritage talks, FREE church and stained glass tours, FREE visiting monthly exhibitions and heritage displays, and our permanent National Lottery Heritage Fund supported exhibition on the history of the Church and the town of Aberdare itself
We've a wide range of online Heritage Resources which include articles and local heritage walks and trails. For details, visit the Heritage Resources section of our website here
Our Heritage Research Group meets monthly on the First Monday of the month, and is always open to new members
We also offer a FREE public Heritage Talk on the Third Friday of each month

A self-guided tour of the church is available to visitors online in the Tour section of the website here
St Elvan's also boasts 16 beautiful stained glass windows, details of which are available in the self guided Stained Glass Tour section of the website here
Visitors are welcome to browse the church and stained glass, self-guided, FREE any day, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00 or can attend one of the FREE monthly Heritage Talks, which take place on the Third Friday of each month. To book a place, and view content, visit the events section of our website here, or to book a separate, stand alone group tour of the church or guided stained glass group tour, please contact us by email at [email protected]
