Each summer, St Elvan's have been delighted to work with the progressive RCT based theatre company Avant Cymru
Specialists in progressive, community theatre, Avant have successfully explored "Romeo & Juliet" atop the mountains at the shrine of Penrhys; undertaken performances of "Henry V", "Twelfth Night" and recently both "Macbeth" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" here at St Elvan's and wider in 2022 | 23
On Thursday June 27th, Avant Cymru return to St Elvan's to present their production of William Shakespeare's "Hamlet"

Widely considered to be one of the greatest plays of all time, Shakespeare's most renowned tragedy enacts the tale of the young prince Hamlet, and his attempts to exact revenge against Claudius, his uncle, who has murdered Hamlet's father in order to seize the throne, and his Queen
Sent by the very ghost of his father to avenge his brutal death, Hamlet’s mission to expose the truth is a perilous journey of madness, murder and lost love. Who can he trust? Who can be believed? And what will ultimately become of this young man sent to kill?
Avant Cymru return to present their production of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" here at St Elvan's on Thursday June 27th
Performances will take place at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 7:00pm
The running time is 90 minutes. Group bookings and school bookings are welcomed, and special rates are available for both concessions and schools
